A Few Dental Facts

Regular Check-ups Regular dental check-ups prevent minor problems becoming major dental work, which keeps down the cost of family dental treatments.

We recommend six monthly check ups for all members of the family. It is particularly important to monitor children’s dental development where irregularities can be quickly rectified.

Check-ups are also recommended:

  • – Before Surgery
  • – For Expectant Mothers
  • – For Young Adults

Dental Anxiety Dental anxiety is now the topic of several research papers and finding an answer to lowering anxiety is a focus of the dental industry. We follow a simple approach where not only our pain free treatments help alleviate dental anxiety but our friendly and helpful staff strive to make your dental visit a more favourable experience.

We take particular care to reassure our younger patients. Giving them friendly advice on how to clean and look after their teeth is our main priority. For our new ‘little stars’ a visit to the dentist should be part of the routine of life.

Oral Hygiene A six monthly scale & clean is often all that is needed for most people to keep their oral hygiene in good order. However, even regular cleaning does not stop some people getting periodontal (gum) disease. In those cases, an oral hygiene program provided by a dentist or periodontist is the only way to arrest this problem.

Payment Methods We are mindful that dental treatment can stretch the family budget. Not only will we give you a written quote for recommended dental work, we will also prioritise treatments to fit your financial situation.
